Head of Product (Finance) - South Bank, QLDJob no: 521913Brand: Product and TechnologyWork type: Full timeLocation: QueenslandCategories: Information & TechnologyWe are seeking a mid-level Head of Product (Finance), with a proven track record of driving business growth and efficiency, working closely with technical and finance teams to deliver results.If you have a strong background in product management, finance system enhancements, or project management, developing and executing product strategies that drive product growth and operational efficiencies, please applyDay to day:Work closely with the Product Management and Engineering (PM&E) and Finance teams to formulate and execute a product strategy that aligns with the cross-brand goals to achieve operational efficiencies and support growth across our sales channels.Lead the technical product direction in executing and prioritising features and functionality that drive commercial outcomes and business ROI that are aligned to business goals.Surface data-driven insights to help with product decisions and prioritisation - Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our customers, their needs and pain points to inform product decisions - Monitor product performance and iterate based on customer feedback and market trends.Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring product quality and timely delivery to meet investment timelines and targets - Become an expert in your domain, live and breathe the product, advocating on behalf of customers.Track outcomes using OKRs that drive revenue-focused outcomes and results.Collaborate closely with product, engineering, finance, and operations teams to deliver high-quality solutions.Identify and mitigate product development risks with effective contingency planning.Develop go-live strategies that drive product adoption and revenue growth.Ensure a seamless end-to-end customer experience across all channels to drive efficiency and sales growth.You'll be perfect for the role if you have:3 - 5 years of product management experience, focused on delivering measurable ROI.High level stakeholder engagement and communication skills.Bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field.Experience with finance systems within a travel agency, online travel distribution, and other internet-scale environments.Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and product management best practices.Ability to assess technology disruptions, minimise internal risks, and identify opportunities.Capability of translating complex financial concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.Experience in leading finance projects within technical environments.What you will enjoy:Culture: You will be employed by an inclusive company that offers a team culture like no other in the industry - Flight Centre Travel Group Australia is proud to be a certified Great Place To Work Australia New Zealand Pty Ltd.Development: Individualised, ongoing Learning & Development via communities of practice.
