About the Role
Under this newly created role of General Manager Therapeutic Services, you'll have the exciting opportunity to develop and implement community growth strategies and drive the continuous improvement of the organisation's Therapeutic Services offerings.

This includes the flagship Multiagency Investigation Support Team (MIST) that is delivered in partnership with WA Police's Child Sexual Abuse team; Child Sexual Abuse Services; and other services that support children and young people (and their families) who have experienced significant trauma or adverse childhood experiences, including but not limited to Child Sexual Abuse, other forms of Child Abuse, Family and Domestic Violence, and Homicide.

We are seeking a strong and agile leader with a vision for therapeutic care who can excel in innovative service delivery, set expectations, provide vital support to individuals affected by significant trauma, and achieve meaningful outcomes for a respected and rewarding cause.

This role is offered on a 12-month, Full-Time / 1.0 FTE basis with likely extension or permanency subject to funding (for the right candidate we will consider 30.4 hrs per week / 0.8 FTE).
This role will be based at our Burswood office with a minimum of 3 days a week at service sites.

If you would be keen to join us, we are now seeking a passionate and committed professional to join our team who can:
Oversee the development, implementation, and management of the organisation's strategy to deliver high quality and outcomes-driven therapeutic services to children, young people, and families who have been impacted by significant trauma and/or adverse childhood experiences.
Ensure that Therapeutic Services has a clear planned approach to its growth and expansion to meet community needs, based on WAPOL feedback and data and other internal and external research.
Ensure Therapeutic Services are culturally appropriate and safe, delivered effectively, meet client needs, are within budget, and achieve desired micro and macro-outcomes.
Meet all operational data collection, planning, and reporting requirements and deadlines.
Service Integration: Ensure all services are integrated with organisational service areas in order to deliver the best possible radically person-centred outcomes while also promoting and actively developing a culture of connection and inclusion across all service arms and programs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with service area aligned community partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders to foster collaboration, secure resources, and advance organisational goals.
Ensure team engagement in fundraising activities generally, but especially in the areas that they will oversee or deliver services within.
Manage program budgets and resources efficiently, ensuring financial sustainability, effective stewardship of resources, forecasting of future budgets, and alignment with organisational operational and strategic goals.
Lead and support a diverse team of professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities.
The successful candidate for this role will be able to:
Tertiary degree in Social Sciences or a closely related field required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in senior management roles overseeing service and program portfolios that relate to children, young people, and their families.
Strategic Leadership: ability at a senior level to manage and deliver on agile and efficient service support functions, change, and critical project outcomes.
Experience leading major organisational change initiatives or driving innovation in service delivery to meet strategic objectives.
Experience in delivering information to Boards and Executive teams that is accurate, relevant, timely, and data-driven.
Experience in Not-for-Profit environment.
Experience in business support functions, inclusive of system and process alignment to enhance operational effectiveness.
