The successful candidate will be able to provide clinical leadership and support to our home and to ensure guidance in the provision of advanced clinical and person-centred care of residents aligned with our contemporary practices.

The Clinical Care Manager will also be responsible for ensuring that the direct care needs of residents are met through effective resources management, monitoring and managing clinical governance, promoting principles of best practice and assistance in driving continuous improvement activities, developing and implementing innovative processes to promote a systematic approach to care in the home.
The successful applicant will have: Bachelor of Nursing equivalent or higherAPHRA Registration without any notationMinimum 3-4 years experience in Aged Care in AustraliaProvide clinical leadership and act as a positive role model and resource for all staffResponsible for management of and accountability for clinical care provisionsA confident team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for leading clinical outcomesA team mentality, able to work within and develop teamsA strong focus on improving quality of life of our residentsDemonstrated ability to assist the Residential Services Director in mentoring and supervising staffExposure to Gerontology, Dementia Care, Palliative Care and Wound Management or relevant discipline would be highly regarded but is not mandatorySound understanding of ANACCSound clinical decision-making skillsSound understanding of relevant legislation and experience in meeting Australian Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission StandardsHighly organised with proven ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environmentExcellent computer skills and ability to use computer software in the delivery of care servicesHold a current Victorian driver's licenseThe successful applicant will enjoy benefits such as: Above award remuneration commensurate with experience and qualificationsAttractive Not for Profit Salary Packaging benefitsPlease note: only short-listed candidates will be contacted regarding the next phase of the selection process.
