Then it might be time to join Western Australia's booming mining industryWe aim to build the next generation of Drillers, Supervisors and Ops Managers with you... if you're ready to learn, grow and lead.Our underground entry level role will enable you tolearn new skills, build life-long friendships, and earn serious money as an Underground Entry-level Driller's Offsider (Drillers Assistant / Trainee Driller).Keep in mind that this role is the most demanding job in the mines, but well-worth the challenge if you're up for it.Here are the essentials you can expect:Excellent base salary + bonuses and super.Healthy and tasty meals are cooked and provided for you every day.2:1 manageable FIFO shifts out of Perth, WA.Comfortable accommodation.Career longevity and financial stability.Our team's support and guidance.Uniforms and PPE provided.And more.Once on-site, you will learn from the best Drillers, work for some of the most recognisable names in mining, and build life-long connections while enjoying incredible rates + performance bonuses and superOur team will go above and beyond to support you during this transition into the resources sectorWhat is expected of you on the job:Listen to the Driller and follow their guidanceConducting daily pre-start equipment checksCompleting necessary safety paperwork and processesAssisting with routine rig / machine / equipment / tool maintenance and cleaningLoading and unloading heavy vehiclesAssist in set up / dismantle / move rigs and associated equipmentManual Handling of drill rods, sample bags, core trays etcOther duties as requiredTo be successful, you must have and provide:Manual C class licence with no restrictionsMust currently reside in Western AustraliaAbility to pass a pre-employment medicalClean Police Record from within the last 3 monthsAustralian Citizenship or Permanent ResidentA solid commitment to safetyWorking at heights and 4WD ticket (not required, but highly regarded)Mechanical aptitude, strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feetBe willing to put in the hard yards in training.Serious physical and mental fitness is a must to succeed in Offsiding.
