OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE The eLearning and Instructional Designer is people-focused and has a strong ability to communicate with compassion, possessing expertise in economical multimedia content development and system analysis within an educational setting.
The eLearning and Instructional Designer will adhere to pre-approved standards, guides, and policies.
The eLearning and Instructional Designer must have strong organisational skills coupled with relevant project management postgraduate qualifications.

The eLearning and Instructional Designer is responsible to the Vice Principal – Learning and Teaching and reports directly to the Director of eLearning and Innovation.

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY The responsibilities of the eLearning and Instructional Designer include but are not limited to:
Coordinating the planning, development and implementation of projects and learning programs; Coordinating the development of and maintaining bespoke in-house training materials and programs; Delivering both individual and group training for students, staff and parents and supporting the Director of eLearning with the coordination and delivery of training sessions in both a multi-campus and online environment; Coordinating the administration of the College's Learning Management Systems (LMS), external content delivery platforms, online test environments and other systems; Coordinating learning solutions and projects which will largely enhance the information technology literacy skills in the College; Coordinating the creation of a variety of multimedia assets inclusive of video, audio, graphics, and motion graphics; and Performing other duties and implementing decisions as requested by the Principal or the College Improvement Team.
SALARY REMUNERATION: According to the CEMEA 2022, $77,432.00 - $87,736.00 per annum, plus 11.5% superannuation.
