Opportunity for career progression, training and development Our client is a leader in the industry providing comprehensive maintenance and reactive services to large commercial, industrial and manufacturing food and beverage equipment across Australia.
We're currently seeking a National Service Manager to join their management team.
The purpose of the role of The National Service Manager is to be responsible for overseeing the service operations on a national level.
The National Service Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction, optimising service delivery, and driving the growth of the business nationally.
The role:Establish and implement service goals, objectives, and strategies in alignment with company's overall vision.Develop service policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective service delivery across all locations.Oversee the national service team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure optimal performance.Evaluate service operations regularly to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless customer experience.Monitor and analyse service performance metrics, such as customer satisfaction, response time, and resolution rates.Identify trends and customer needs to proactively address issues and develop strategies for enhancing service offerings.Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, addressing their service concerns and ensuring their satisfaction.Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the availability of necessary resources and support for service operations.Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in service management, incorporating them into our service strategies.Prepare and present regular reports on service performance, highlighting achievements, challenges, and proposed solutions.Manage the service budget, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising service quality.Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to service operations. What we're looking for:Qualification in business administration, management, or a related fieldProven experience (at least 5 years) in service management, preferably in a national or regional capacity.Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performance team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders.Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.In-depth knowledge of service management best practices, tools, and techniquesProficient in using Service Management software (e.g., NetSuite) and other relevant technology platforms.Strong business acumen and understanding of financial principles related to service operations.Ability to travel nationally as required to oversee regional service operations and meet with key stakeholders.
