Reporting to the ANZ Head of Sales and Support, our results-driven and customer-focused Territory Manager will be responsible for:Meeting or exceeding the annual revenue goals in the geographic territory by developing and executing regional business plans that incorporate account-specific business plans, strategies, and knowledge of business drivers within the region.Developing long-term customer alliances to further support and drive capital sales-based activities: prospecting, qualifying, account management, and providing sales support to the customer base.Developing & implementing territory plans and account-based strategies to achieve sales revenue growth.Coordinating all activities associated with and required within the sales cycle, e.g., demonstrations/evaluations, liaising with the team regarding installations, maintenance, and technical support at customer laboratories. Reporting on new product requirements, opportunities, and competitive activities.Supporting marketing initiatives and driving customer testimonials or publications.Providing support for the international sales effort as required.Working with the technical support team to ensure products are performing as intended, and customer needs are met.Responding quickly to customer concerns or issues regarding equipment or kits to achieve resolution in a timely manner.Assisting with activities associated with the preparation of system installs, maintenance, and training as required.Developing customer relationships and proactively managing key customers within the territory and other agreed jurisdictions as required.Driving sales and customer support excellence by responding quickly to customer concerns or issues regarding equipment or kits.Coordinating attendance and representation for Genetic Signatures at tradeshows and special interest group meetings that are relevant to the Diagnostic portfolio.Constantly reviewing the competitor landscape, including analysis of strengths and weaknesses of competition.Preparing monthly reports and forecasts for assigned accounts.Ensuring customer interactions are recorded in a timely manner within the Customer Relationship Manager (CRM).Essential for success as our Territory Manager are:Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the diagnostic/life sciences marketplace.Demonstrated ability to meet targets in past roles.Demonstrated success in highly complex sales processes.Proficient in the Microsoft suite.Bachelor of Science or equivalent.Ability to prospect cold.Ability to strategically plan and execute sales.Understanding of business processes and high-level contract negotiation.Can shift gears comfortably between the hands-on and the strategic.Resilient traveler (regular interstate overnight visits will be required).It is advantageous if our Territory Manager's talent toolkit includes:Ability to present technology within a commercial context and understanding of scientific issues.Experience using the Miller Heiman approach to sales.Experience working in a molecular diagnostic related field.Understanding of molecular diagnostics, PCR, or scientific principles.Strong existing relationships with diagnostic testing laboratories.If this sounds like your next career opportunity and you want to make a difference to healthcare outcomes for patients around the world, apply now; we can't wait to hear from youPlease inquire further or apply with a cover letter and CV via email at ******.
