12-Month Contract Opportunity with a large Federal AgencyYour new company:Hays has partnered with a large Federal Government Agency. This is an opportunity to join the agency on a 12-month contract based in the Brisbane CBD.Your new role:As the EL1 Assistant Director, Strategic Intelligence, you will be responsible for actively managing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, representing and negotiating on behalf of the agency to promote its interests across various forums as needed.Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:Lead and coordinate strategic intelligence projects, creating high-quality products that inform decision-making for stakeholders.Collaborate with the Fraud Fusion Taskforce to provide comprehensive government insights and intelligence.Engage with other agencies to share information, and produce briefing papers and reports.Support the team's response function by handling information requests, preparing responses for senior management and ministers, and assessing incoming matters for appropriate action.What you'll need to succeed:Applicants for this role MUST be Australian citizens.Knowledge, skills, and experience in fraud and intelligence.Working with Children Check.Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) clearance.Applicants must have or be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at "Baseline Level."What you'll get in return:A 12-month initial contract within a large State Government Department in Brisbane CBD with an attractive daily rate.Flexible working conditions.Contract workers through Hays also enjoy a wide range of benefits including:Weekly pay cycles.Your nominated choice of superannuation fund.Online timesheet submission and approval.No hidden costs or payroll deductions for our services.Option to be engaged on a Pty Ltd basis (conditions apply).Regular contact with consultants throughout the duration of your assignment.What you need to do now:At Hays, we value diversity and are passionate about placing people in a role where they can flourish and succeed.
