Join J.P. Morgan Payments as the Head of Payments Product in Sydney, where you will lead a dynamic team of product managers focused on promoting and developing the end-to-end value proposition for J.P. Morgan Payments. The position is primarily responsible for the implementation of the strategy on new product development, growth of the P&L in Australia & New Zealand, product compliance, and delivery of key project initiatives.As the Head of Payments Product within J.P. Morgan Payments, you will serve as a subject matter expert on market requirements, solutioning client needs, and payments industry engagement. You bring extensive understanding of the regulatory landscape and clearinghouse rules to help ensure our products launch and are adopted successfully.You will manage Payments product solutions, including Automated Clearing House, Wires, real-time payments, FX, and liquidity services. This involves working closely with regional/global product partners, sales, and functional partners on client strategy, investment, and resiliency. Additionally, it involves managing business impact on regulatory changes, representing and advocating for the bank on industry committees, and overseeing arrangements with partner banks and third-party providers.Job Responsibilities:Manage a team of high-performing product managers to deliver Global/Regional and Australia/New Zealand product agenda.Set the strategic agenda from a product development perspective to support business growth through delivering payment solutions to drive new client acquisition and deepen existing client relationships.Drive and execute the commercialization strategy for Australia and New Zealand, including securing technology investments and attending client pitches and meetings, where required.Establish strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders across a wide range of disciplines (including Sales, Technology, Risk, Legal, Operations, and Compliance) to drive new initiatives and deliver complete solutions.Maintain an open relationship with market regulators and clearinghouses, providing insights into regulatory dialogue across the market and advocating for our client use cases.Understand the local market to define country value propositions and visions, and stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes impacting the payments landscape.Anticipate internal and external factors impacting the business' governance and implement plans to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive landscape to strengthen the country's positioning and socialize with internal stakeholders.Help drive country footprint deepening and revenue growth through targeted commercialization plans.Ensure all new and existing products are in compliance with regulations and the firm's control standards.Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:Minimum 10 years of experience in the Cash Management Product space.Highly motivated individual with significant experience in the commercial payments industry and proven knowledge of payment systems, banking operations, and financial technology.Advanced level knowledge of risk management and controls, regional and local nuances, and governance requirements.Proven ability to identify opportunities and develop strategies for market growth in line with regulatory requirements.Ability to present product solutions to senior clients to solve their pain points or provide efficiencies.Strong interpersonal, organizational skills, decision-making, and multi-tasking abilities.In-depth knowledge of Australia & New Zealand market banking regulations and the ability to engage with regulatory bodies and lead industry-wide initiatives.Expertise in product development, management, or product delivery.Strategic thinker with the ability to work systematically and develop a vision, with the capability to motivate and drive tactical execution. Creative problem solver, capable of developing innovative and differentiated solutions.Advanced communication, presentation, influencing, and interpersonal skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to various stakeholders.Experience working in a complex matrix organization.Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:Relevant tertiary qualifications.About usJ.P.
