Purpose As theConference & Events Coordinator,you will look after certain properties across numerous states.
Your expertise lies in the finer details, and you understand that even the smallest components can have the most profound impact.
Your role involves collaborating with clients, suppliers, colleagues, and management to create experiences that leave unforgettable memories.
The Role Located at our Corporate Offices in the vibrant heart of Surfers Paradise on the Gold CoastCommencing in January 2025, this role offers the opportunity to kick off the New Year with a dynamic career moveAct as a key hub, providing support to a diverse range of properties within the Accor Apartments & Realty Portfolio across multiple statesPrimary Responsibilities Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand event goals, create event plans, and keep everything on track with budgets and schedules.Collaborate closely with clients throughout the entire event process, from initial planning to post-event follow-upMaintain a polished and professional image as a representative of our company, ensuring a consistently high standard of serviceProactively address and resolve any issues that may arise during the event, striving for perfectionTake charge of planning, overseeing, and executing event activities, keeping everything on track with regards budgets and schedulesCoordinate logistics, including equipment, contractors, resources, and personnel involved in and supporting the eventSkilfully handle all inquiries related to events and successfully convert them into confirmed bookingsSkills & Experience Past experience in a similar role, demonstrated precision in coordination and providing exceptional customer service while exceeding expectationsCreativity is key for designing unique event experiences and finding innovative solutions to challenges that may ariseProficiency in budgeting, cost estimation, and financial managementProficient in negotiating with suppliers, vendors, and clients to establish favourable terms that benefit all parties involvedA strategic mindset, adept at orchestrating a wide range of eventsYou foster a can-do approach with impeccable attention to detail and exceptional time management skillsFlexible availability to accommodate various shifts, including mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays as requiredAt Accor, we welcome you as you are.
