Following the decision by the Australian Government to acquire UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters from the US Government, Lockheed Martin Australia has established a core team of experienced military Rotary Wing professionals to support the initial procurement and ongoing sustainment activities.

We are pleased to invite applications for the position of UH-60M Publications Officer to join our UH-60M Black Hawk team.
Your responsibilities will include: Undertake the coordination and/or maintenance of technical publication amendments for implementation of UH-60M Black Hawk publicationsOversee and support distribution of UH-60M Black Hawk publications through ICT systemsWork collaboratively with the System Program Office to establish, develop and maintain the publications capabilityAbout you: You will have strong computer literacy skills, and be a self-motivated and outcomes driven individual; enjoying investigating issues and being able to pre-empt problems and create opportunities for improvement.
Able to work in a small team in an open office environment, and make connections with outside stakeholders.
Ideally you will hold Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Communications, Information Technology, etc.)
from a recognised institution, and/or equivalent relevant experience (preferably within the defence industry).
To be successful in this role you will also have:
Substantial experience within an engineering and/or maintenance environment, preferably within the defence industryFamiliarity of DEF (AUST) 5629C and Australian Air Publication (AAP) 7000.003Awareness in configuration and change management principles with AAP'sAbility to condense complex concepts into succinct explanationsMicrosoft Office and Adobe Acrobat ProKnowledge of adjacent ILS disciplines, including Logistics Engineering, Maintenance Engineering and Training DevelopmentPrevious experience with ADF aviation publications and amendmentsExperience with Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs)S1000D and XML skillsSpecial Requirements: Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
