The Position
A vacancy exists for an experienced Administration Manager to join Deakin Private Hospital as an integral part of the Hospital Team, supporting the administration functions of the Hospital.

The Administration Manager is responsible for maintaining an efficient and effective hospital administration department.
Leadership is required to ensure that the administration staff provide responsive support to all departments and patients while adhering to all procedures.

Key responsibilities include:
Responsible for the effective administrative functions of each administration area.
Provide critical leadership, inspire a positive team culture, and collaborate to achieve success.
Understand Medicare & Healthcare funds.
Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
Organize resources as required for the administration team.
Demonstrate strong problem-solving and conflict management skills.
Liaise with external service providers as required.
Exhibit exceptional customer service skills with a passion for the patient experience.
Minimum Requirements
Experience as an administrative manager in a healthcare setting is highly regarded.
Demonstrate experience in data entry and management, record maintenance, requests for information, and quality improvement.
Well-developed skills in the use of Microsoft applications and other information databases.
Knowledge of or ability to acquire knowledge of WebPAS patient management system, Gentu, and Cyberquery.
Experience with process improvement initiatives and streamlining procedures is highly desirable.
Pre-Employment Screening
A current police check (dated within the last three months).
Working with vulnerable people's check.
Evidence of vaccinations including Hep B, DTPa, MMR & varicella.
