EXPRESSION OF INTEREST Southern Adelaide Local Health Network - Flinders Medical Centre - Division of Medicine, Cardiac and Critical CareTerm appointment for 18 months - Managerial Allowance (Large Unit)An exciting opportunity has become available for you to demonstrate leadership and efficient management capabilities as the Head of Unit (HoU) in the Emergency Department – Flinders Medical Centre (FMC).
The Head of Unit will report to Network Clinical Director, Division of Medicine, Cardiac & Critical Care.
As an experienced senior clinician, you will: Provide clinical leadership and governance of team functions and servicesOperationally contribute to leading the team and be responsible for the management of operational requirements of the Emergency Department, FMCContribute to the management of change and development of the program/serviceClinically supervise the clinical team membersClinical supervision and line management of medical staff allocated to the teamBe responsible for developing and implementing medical staff planning, including strategic planning, succession planning and rosteringPlease see the attached Role Description for additional information.
