And we'll do it with the utmost integrity, and in an environment where everyone is seen, heard and feels like they belong.Join Team Amex and let's lead the way together.The SBS Account Development Team is a key part of ICS and maintains relationships with Small and Medium & Large market clients in Australia & New Zealand, supporting business owners with products and services to help them run and grow their businesses.The SBS Account Development Executive position is responsible for managing a dynamic Small Business Services portfolio, with the goal of growing billing & lending revenues whilst focusing on customer retention via effective pipeline management.To be effective, the ADE is required to interpret information from a variety of sources including customer conversations, internal data and analytics resources and external sources to uncover and convert growth opportunities. Ensuring a positive customer experience with every interaction is paramount.Key responsibilities include:Drive billings growth through application of consultative selling skills to identify and secure spend expansion opportunitiesCross selling additional products to support business growthImprove retention to meet defined overall portfolio targets for growthMaintain a high level of knowledge for related products, underwriting policy, systems and processesThinking conceptually and analytically to ensure we are enhancing the most positive customer experienceQualificationsPrevious relationship management and consultative sales experienceProven track record of delivering resultsStrong portfolio and pipeline leadership skillsStrong influencing skills with an ability to respectfully challenge the status-quoAble to build rapport and engage with business owners including accountants, financial controllers or CFOsAbility to work collaboratively across diverse teamsStrong commercial and financial acumen and the ability to have financial conversations on working capital and cash flow (desirable)Strong analytical and problem solving skillsProven interpersonal and communication skillsBe a team player, with a high focus on collaboration and sharing of ideas, and also able to work independently.Offer of employment with American Express is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background verification check, subject to applicable laws and regulations.
