Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee all financial operations and guide the financial direction of the organisation.
The CFO will work closely with the senior leadership team to ensure financial performance, compliance with NDIS funding guidelines, and continued delivery of exceptional services.
Key Responsibilities
Lead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Ensure compliance with NDIS funding regulations and statutory requirements.
Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
Manage risk and implement internal controls to safeguard the organisation's assets.
Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring high performance and accountability.
Build relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies and auditors.
Experience & Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and compliance, ideally within the disability services or NDIS sector.
Strong track record in leading finance teams and driving financial improvements.
Skills:
Strong strategic and analytical thinking.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
