Add expected salary to your profile for insights.If these things also matter to you, please keep readingAs a family owned and managed business, these values are vitally important to our business and all members of our Team.Our business has relationships with some of Australia's major Insurance Companies, along with government contracts, and we are looking for the next addition to our dedicated Team to provide awesome service to those clients.The roleThe SEQ Supervision Team Leader plays a crucial role in leading and developing the capability of the Supervision team, as well as supporting the implementation of operational strategies, policies, procedures and systems to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.We take pride in the quality of our work and customer satisfaction. Therefore, the successful applicant must have an eye for detail, construction background and a strong focus on service to achieve successful outcomes.Experience with the Insurance Repair industry or construction Trade Certificate would be advantageous and highly regarded.Key responsibilitiesProvide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to team members, fostering a positive and high-performing work environment;Set performance goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback to drive individual and team development;Assist in a 'hands on' capacity with escalated jobs or in times of team leave as needed;Communicate effectively and regularly with all stakeholders including customers, tenants, clients and office staff;Maintain long-term relationships with clients and subcontractors;Ensure business is conducted to a high ethical standard; andMaintain daily records on a computer based work system including timesheets.The applicant must haveThe ability to follow company procedures;Proven experience working as a people leader;Be eligible to hold a Supervisor's licence;A Queensland Drivers' Licence;The ability to work additional hours and travel to other areas if required;A professional appearance and good phone manner;Competent PC skills including the Microsoft Office Suite;A 'can do' energetic attitude and action oriented approach;Excellent communication and organisational skills;A strong work ethic and to be able think ahead;If you think you've got what it takes to join our dedicated team and meet our commitment to quality service, then email your cover letter and resume today*Please apply via Seek only: we will not consider any applicants who call*Your application will include the following questions:Do you have a current Australian driver's licence?Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How much notice are you required to give your current employer?How many years' experience do you have as a Building Supervisor?What's your expected annual base salary?
