Meriton offers sales, leasing and property management services, as well as the luxury hotel accommodation brand Meriton Suites with 23 locations nationwide.
In this newly created role as Strata Relationship Manager, you will be the primary representative for the owner across multiple strata properties, ensuring consistent management and representation across different apartment blocks and regions.
With your experience in strata-related roles and relationship management, you will establish and maintain relationships with committees and leverage these relationships to oversee the investment portfolio of around 100 properties and advocate on behalf of the owner/Company.
Key Responsibilities will include: Serve as a single point of contact for all strata-related matters, streamlining communication and ensuring timely updates across properties.Build and maintain relationships with strata committees and other stakeholders in each location to safeguard the owner's interests.Stay informed about and ensure compliance with state-specific strata regulations, by-laws, and governance requirements.Attend strata committee meetings on behalf of the owner, advocating for their interests and providing detailed feedback.Mediate disputes and/or address concerns involving the owner's properties, seeking resolutions that align with local regulations and the owner's priorities.Monitor budgets, levies, and financial reports for all properties, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with the owner's objectives.Provide informed recommendations on property maintenance, expenditure, levies, and governance issues, tailored to each property's unique circumstances.Review and analyze strata documents (e.g., meeting minutes, contracts, by-laws) for potential risks or opportunities, consolidating insights for the owner.Deliver comprehensive reports summarizing key activities, decisions, and developments for all properties, with a focus on actionable insights and long-term planning.What we need from you to be considered for this role: Must hold a minimum class 2 Strata Managing Agent License4 or more years' Strata industry experience as well as proven experience in Relationship ManagementExcellent communication and the ability to connect with peopleStrong understanding of strata legislation in various regions/StatesFluent in Mandarin would be an advantageThis is a full-time permanent role based in our Head Office in Sydney CBD.
Candidates with relevant local experience, qualifications, and Australian full-time permanent working rights will be considered.
Successful candidates must provide a current Police Clearance.
