Key Accountabilities: Manage and maintain a high quality of trust accounting, financial reporting and services to our strata clients.Ensure all regulatory and compliance aspects of strata scheme accounting are achieved.Manage and supervise the accounts team with respect to people, process and performance management.Drive continuous improvement initiatives that deliver increased efficiency and/or scalability within the business with respect to strata budgeting, forecasting, investment management, loan management, financial reporting and external audits.Act as the source of strata accounting expertise and the escalation point for the accounts and strata management teams.Collaborate with our strata managers to design and execute initiatives to develop and provide enhanced accounting services for our clients that position Strata Sense as the leader in strata financial services.Oversee the reconciliation of takeover scheme financials through to general ledger accounts, set-up of new client trust accounts and the smooth financial onboarding of new clients and schemes.Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years' experience in a senior financial managerial position and CPA, CA qualified.University degree with a major in accounting, economics, commerce, or equivalent.Exceptional financial acumen, with the ability to translate complex financial matters into simple advice.A commercial problem solver who can think strategically and yet be hands-on when it's called for.Experience in financial accounting, forecasting, analysis, and planning in a similar role.Experience in team management and the development of team members.Advanced spreadsheet and database skills, and medium level Microsoft Office skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
