Our dedicated workforce made up of employees and volunteers help contribute to our mission to provide the best possible support and services to all generations of veterans in Victoria.To find out more about the important work that we do, visit our website: www.rslvic.com.au.About the roleWe have a newly created exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced Service Designer to use their expertise and take the lead with the development of a state-level service delivery model for the RSL.
This key role will see you creating innovative, best practice, evidence-based service delivery that supports our government-funded initiatives and program streams, which includes Wellbeing, Navigation and Support, Military Compensation Advocacy, Community Development and Social Connection services.
With the focus on enhancing the quality and accessibility of services for our veterans and their families (clients), you will also be responsible for documenting ongoing business processes, service manuals and business rules.This is a fixed term 12 month contract role working Monday to Friday, based in Melbourne at our head office at ANZAC House with hybrid working arrangements.
It is envisaged the role will commence in January 2025.Key responsibilities:Develop a cohesive, scalable state branch service model that aligns with our existing program streams, best practices, evidence-based approaches and sector changes.Establish business rules that guide consistent, high-quality service delivery across all branches.Lead the documentation of BAU service manuals and business rules as part of an ongoing review process.Collaborate and engage with sub-branches, leaders, and program managers to gather insights and feedback and ensure the model design aligns with organisational and local needs.Promote understanding and support for the new model among internal and external stakeholders.About you (what we are looking for)As a highly driven professional with demonstrated similar experience and background, you will have strong business acumen, communication and stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to influence.
Your proven success developing scalable service delivery models in a complex, federated environment with expertise in change management, design planning, and research and a qualification in service design, social science or related field will well equip you.
