What You'll Do: Design and develop custom mechanical solutions tailored to the unique needs of the site.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm, prototype, and implement innovative designs.Conduct site assessments and 3D scanning.Conduct analysis to ensure the performance and reliability of our solutions meet or exceed industry standards.Provide technical expertise and support throughout all stages of project development, from concept to implementation.Stay current with industry standards, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our offerings.Integration with the manufacturing process including job scheduling & QA.What You Bring: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.Proven experience in mechanical design workshop environment, preferably with experience in the mining industry.Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools.Experience with 3D scanning and use of point cloud for reverse engineering.Familiarization with relevant Australian Standards, including Structural Steel, Handrails & Access Platforms.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving project requirements.Why Join Us: Opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects that have a real impact on the world.Competitive compensation package with benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.Be part of a passionate team of innovators who are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of mechanical engineering.Ready to embark on an exciting journey with us?

Position is site-based in Nanango.
Mon-Fri.
Applicant would ideally be willing to relocate to Nanango for the role.
