This job opportunity will be located at our Brisbane facility.
We supply a broad range of quality forklift attachments and accessories for the material handling market.
About the role If you are a degree qualified Mechanical Engineer and have supervisor experience this is a great opportunity to have a meaningful input into an exciting engineering project.
This is a hands-on role where you will be involved in the day-to-day design work.
The responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):
Supervising projects and leading a team of 4 professional engineersBeing involved in the day-today design work Engineering material handling products primarily for forklift attachmentsProjects include detail design, engineering calculation and engineering draftingUse the latest design technology – 3D Modelling, FEA , Team Centre, Solid EdgeReview and design hydraulic systems for equipmentPrepare quality documents and reports as requiredWork safely with our skilled engineering team to solve problems and analyse product performanceCommunicating regularly with production, workshop team members, and internal customer service team on engineering projects.Experience and qualifications required for the role: At least 1-2 years supervisory experiencePassionate about design and leading peopleUse of 3D modelling package e.g., Solid Edge or similar; Team Centre Knowledge of FEA software (Ansys) and hydraulics preferableknowledge of Australian StandardsFantastic research and problem-solving skillsFirst-class communication, organisational and time management skills; andExemplary skills in excel and other Microsoft office suit.MBA or Master's DegreePrior experience with manufacturing processesRegistration with Engineers Australia and RPEQ.What we offer Competitive remuneration package Monthly productivity BonusOn the job training where appropriate Modern office and facilities Employee Assistance program Excellent workplace values and culture Over 50 years operating in Australia.If you love to learn, enjoy teamwork and are motivated to succeed please apply.
