This job opportunity will be located at our Brisbane facility.
We supply a broad range of quality forklift attachments and accessories for the material handling market.
About the role If you are a degree qualified Mechanical Engineer and have supervisor experience, this is a great opportunity to have a meaningful input into an exciting engineering project.
This is a hands-on role where you will be involved in the day-to-day design work.
The responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to): Supervising projects and leading a team of 4 professional engineers Being involved in the day-to-day design work Engineering material handling products primarily for forklift attachments Projects include detail design, engineering calculation and engineering drafting Use the latest design technology – 3 D Modelling, FEA, Team Centre, Solid Edge Review and design hydraulic systems for equipment Prepare quality documents and reports as required Work safely with our skilled engineering team to solve problems and analyse product performance Communicating regularly with production, workshop team members, and internal customer service team on engineering projects.
Experience and qualifications required for the role: At least 1-2 years supervisory experience Passionate about design and leading people Use of 3 D modelling package e.g., Solid Edge or similar; Team Centre Knowledge of FEA software (Ansys) and hydraulics preferable Knowledge of Australian Standards Fantastic research and problem-solving skills First-class communication, organisational and time management skills Exemplary skills in Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite MBA or Master's Degree Prior experience with manufacturing processes Registration with Engineers Australia and RPEQ What we offer Competitive remuneration package Monthly productivity bonus On-the-job training where appropriate Modern office and facilities Employee Assistance program Excellent workplace values and culture Over 50 years operating in Australia If you love to learn, enjoy teamwork and are motivated to succeed, please apply.
