Nurse Unit Manager

As Nurse Unit Manager, you will oversee and manage the clinical inpatient unit in this large clinical trial facility.
This position is Monday to Friday, 6am – 6pm and offers a salary of $120k plus super.
The key responsibilities of this position are: The Nurse Unit Manager is the key interface for the Project Teams regarding all matters related to the clinical unit.Provide support to project teams, including input on operational/logistical activities and build and maintain positive, productive, and collaborative relationships with relevant stakeholders.Oversee Clinical Unit to ensure they are appropriately resourced at all times with personnel who are trained to undertake required clinical study procedures, in accordance with clinical trial protocols, the Nucleus Network Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and ICH GCP.
This is performed in conjunction with the resourcing department.Oversee the facility maintenance and servicing of all clinical equipment, ensuring that servicing/calibration schedules are adhered to, and appropriate documentation is available for inspection.Oversee the clinical nurse supervisors' portfolios to ensure that the clinical unit has the necessary resources, personnel, equipment, and consumables in place to conduct the clinical trials safely and on schedule.Evaluate and submit proposals to acquire additional equipment and resources.You will have: AHPRA Registration.Demonstrated ability to lead and manage staff at all levels.Comprehensive knowledge of ICH/GCP guidelines and all applicable regulatory requirements.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and communication skills.Demonstrated ability to organise, execute, and complete clinical trials according to approved study protocols, ICH-GCP, and standard operating procedures.Demonstrated ability to develop and implement systems and procedures and identify process improvement.Attention to detail and ability to adhere to documentation guidelines.If you would like to discuss the role further, please click APPLY and send through an up-to-date CV.
