The RoleWe are not your average drinks company, and this is not your average communications or content role.
As the Communications & Content Manager, you'll be the "Voice of Remedy"—responsible for producing and managing all content, copywriting, social media, PR, and influencer and ambassador management in Australia and New Zealand, while also supporting our growing international business.
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer on a 12-month parental leave contract in our Cremorne office, you will apply your expertise to a variety of projects aimed at driving trial, education, and awareness, helping to expand the Remedy brand.
We're on a mission to shake up fizzy drinks for good by turning more people into Remedy lovers.
You'll lead communications strategy based on our broader business and marketing goals, working closely with one direct report and collaborating with a passionate internal team, enthusiastic agency partners, and engaged stakeholders.
In other words, you're a proven performer who thrives in a hands-on role and excels at managing internal and external relationships.
Your days will be filled with: Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute communications strategies to increase awareness and engagement.
Work closely with the CMO to plan scalable campaigns aligned with Remedy's growth ambitions.Social Media: Oversee both organic and paid social media plans.
Partner with the Social Media & Community Coordinator and external agencies to ensure high-performing, engaging content.PR & Media: Collaborate with PR agencies to secure standout media coverage.
Nurture media relationships and support impactful storytelling.Influencer & Ambassador Management: Build authentic partnerships with ambassadors and influencers to drive engagement and brand love.
Develop user-generated content (UGC) strategies to amplify our voice.Content Creation: Manage the production of high-quality content across various formats, including photos, videos, animation, ensuring all materials meet Remedy's brand standards.Copywriting: Craft compelling copy for product, ads, digital, blogs, EDMs, and trade materials, ensuring alignment with Remedy's distinct tone of voice and style.Brand Guidelines: Maintain and refine brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all channels and materials.About youYou have at least 5+ years of experience in leading communications, content creation, or social media, ideally within consumer brands (bonus points if you have experience with an international focus), and bring a unique combination of skills, experience, and attributes to this dynamic role:

Fluent in both established and emerging platforms like Instagram and TikTok, with a proven track record of managing both organic and paid campaigns that deliver results.You're a connector extraordinaire. Whether it's managing ambassadors, influencers, or media partners, you excel at fostering genuine connections and creating impactful collaborations.You have creative flair. From briefing external agencies to overseeing video and photo shoots, you have a keen eye for design, visuals, and engaging content that aligns with brand standards.Strategy is your strong suit. Comfortable creating comprehensive communications and content strategies that drive awareness and engagement, with the ability to pivot as needed to meet business goals.You're a team player. Thrive in a collaborative environment and are skilled at leading and mentoring direct reports, while rolling up your sleeves to get the job done.You're calm under pressure. Balancing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment is second nature to you, and you have the organisational skills to keep everything on track.You're passionate with purpose.
