Due to continuous growth, our client is seeking an estimator to join their team.
Play a crucial role in the estimation of commercial plumbing projects, manage project data, and nurture client and supplier relationships.

Key Requirements 2 - 4 years' estimating experience in a subcontractor environment.
Come from a strong trade background (ideally commercial plumbing) or qualifications in similar fields such as engineering or quantity surveying.
Hold a construction white card.
Proven ability to interpret drawings, construction, and programs.

Excellent communication skills, understanding the importance of stakeholder management.
Proven ability to exercise critical thinking and problem-solving.
Take a genuine interest in your work and being part of a team.
Collaborative attitude.
Strong tenure in previous roles.

Duties Collaborate with the construction team and senior estimator to estimate the cost and resources required for plumbing projects.
Assess and categorize projects as Small, Medium, or Large based on defined criteria.
Analyze project specifications and requirements to provide accurate cost estimates.
Prepare and submit quotes for plumbing services, ensuring they align with project requirements and budget constraints.
Work closely with suppliers to ensure the best pricing is acquired.
Complete a comprehensive hydraulic take-off checklist for each tender to ensure all project requirements are considered.
Maintain rate information, aiding in the pricing process.
Coordinate and oversee the Dial Before You Digs process, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Maintain and update the project dashboard with critical project information, schedules, and milestones.
Identify opportunities for cost control and job efficiencies.
