We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Physiotherapist to join our Aged and Complex Care team in a permanent part-time (0.5EFT) position.
About the role This Grade 3 Physiotherapy position has a mixed caseload across our GEM (slow stream rehabilitation), Acute Aged Care and Inpatient Palliative Care Units.
As the Grade 3 Physiotherapist, you will use your expertise in rehabilitation, discharge planning, person-centred care, and collaboration with the Multidisciplinary Team to deliver Best Care to a variety of complex patient cohorts.
Patient admissions to GEM include post falls management, delirium and other cognitive impairments, post-operative fractured neck of femurs, bariatric, amputees, and a variety of vestibular and neurological presentations.

Grade 3 Physiotherapists at Western Health participate in Research and Quality Improvement as well as Education and Training programs within the Physiotherapy department.
Our Sunshine Aged and Complex Care team are dedicated to improving outcomes for the frail older person and have several research and quality improvement projects underway.
