Our place within government ensures we are at the centre of legal change, reform and problem-solving.About the roleAs a vital member of the People & Culture (P&C) Branch, your role will be focused on VGSO's strategic initiatives regarding psychological and physical health and safety, and wellbeing services throughout the organisation. You will foster an organisational culture and practice in relation to psychosocial safety and employee wellbeing, develop and implement positive mental health strategies, and provide advice, coaching, and training to managers and employees.Skills and experienceExtensive experience in psychological safety with proven ability to develop, drive and strategically align wellbeing strategies and frameworks across an organisation.Experience working with professional services, health and wellbeing support services or a corporate environment is highly regarded.Strong commitment to continuous improvement with proven experience in reviewing, designing and updating new and existing policies and procedures.Experience designing and delivering fit-for-purpose wellbeing workshops and initiatives.Solid knowledge and understanding of relevant OH&S legislation, regulatory and compliance requirements.Demonstrated experience in providing advice to senior levels on high risk/impact matters.Significant experience in developing, managing and influencing strategic partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders.Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to build credibility.Ability to deal with matters confidently, tactfully and discreetly.If you're passionate about building safe and supportive employee experiences and culture, like to try new things and have expertise in creating psychological and physically safe workplaces, this could be the role for youHow to applyIf this sounds like the opportunity for you, apply now Applications must include a cover letter and resume.
