About the Position The City of Stirling has a rare opportunity for a Senior Coordinator to join our team on a maximum term basis until 30 June 2025 (with the possibility of extension).
This is a part-time position working a minimum of 3 days per week (22.8 hours).
In this role, you will be responsible for the overall coordination and operation of Naala Djookan Healing Centre.
Naala Djookan Healing Centre delivers an integrated, specialist service that supports women, children and families at risk of or experiencing family and domestic violence (FDV), to access the support and assistance they require to promote safe, healthy relationships and overall wellbeing.
The position will ensure a shared vision, coordination and communication with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander reference group and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CaLD) reference group and Lived-Experience Group.
About You The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don't tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role:
Tertiary Qualification in social work, counselling, psychology, or related qualificationWell-developed interpersonal and negotiation skills including the ability to foster effective partnerships with other agencies and engage community members.Demonstrated ability to introduce innovative solutions and strategic change to address community needs, particularly in relation to families experiencing family and domestic violence.Well-developed planning, organisational and budgeting skills.Skills and experience working with populations from a broad range of backgrounds including Aboriginal and CaLD backgrounds, and experience in managing employees from diverse backgrounds and disciplines.For further information, please refer to the position description.
