This role is well suited to an experienced Accounts Officer who is willing to learn and grow, and is looking to work in a close-knit and collaborative team.Key ResponsibilitiesFull day to day accounting dutiesFull payroll and related dutiesMonth-end proceduresAssisting in financial reporting & statutory complianceAd hoc admin. tasks and projects/events as required.Education, Experience & Skills RequiredAccounting:Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.2+ years proven experience as an Accounts Officer or similar role.Experience in MYOB or similar accounting software.Basic knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.Studying towards CPA or CA qualification is desirable, but not essential.Payroll:2+ years payroll experience.Solid knowledge of payroll legislation, including taxation, superannuation, terms, and leave.HR experience and/or educational background is a plus.Other Criteria:Full working rights in Australia.Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Chinese.Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Ability to work independently and under pressure.A strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication and interpersonal skills.Strong multitasking and time management skills, and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.Adaptability to changes in the business environment and willingness to take on new challenges.How to applyPlease apply now with your resume and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience.
