Job Overview: The Sales and Business Development Manager will be pivotal in driving sales growth and expanding our market presence within the wedding and events industry.
This position requires a results-oriented individual with a deep understanding of the industry landscape, coupled with proven experience in sales and business development.
Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the wedding and events industry.
Client Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship-building with potential clients.
Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver exceptional service and drive repeat business.
Market Research and Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
Customized Solutions: Collaborate with the creative team to develop customized event solutions tailored to clients' specific requirements and preferences, ensuring seamless execution and delivery.
Proposal Development: Prepare compelling proposals and presentations for prospective clients, showcasing the company's capabilities and value proposition.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and contracts with clients to secure profitable business deals while ensuring alignment with company policies and objectives.
Performance Tracking: Monitor sales performance against targets, analyze key metrics, and provide regular reports to management to evaluate progress and identify areas for improvement.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and other internal teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives and ensure cohesive delivery of services.
Industry Representation: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote brand awareness and foster relationships within the wedding and events community.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Proven track record of success in sales and business development within the wedding and events industry.
Strong understanding of industry trends, client preferences, and competitive landscape.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth and exceeding targets.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Can work in the office in North Strathfield from Mondays to Fridays.
Flexibility to travel as required.
