Projectory | Business Development Manager/Sales Manager

I have partnered with several clients across Australia that are looking to speak to Business Development Managers / Sales Managers that have a proven track record in the commercial construction or residential construction industries and can hit the ground running with growing this already established business.My clients range in size and the types of projects that they complete and are looking to take on people either side of Christmas.What will you be doing?A day in the life of a Business Development Manager for my client will be different every single day – you'll be able to source and manage tenders, manage a full sales cycle and, leveraging your industry contacts as well as contacts you meet at networking events and other functions, generate new business.You'll need to be able to manage a CRM and work with project managers and other stakeholders to deliver amazing results.
You'll also need to be able to resolve service issues raised by customers, be able to complete project walkthroughs (not applicable to all clients) and provide relevant sales reporting to internal stakeholders.What's on offer?Our client is looking to speak to experienced candidates and salary will be negotiated based on experience.
They also offer a challenging but rewarding climate for people that are willing to work hard.What does the successful Business Development Manager / Sales Manager for my client look like?You'll need to have a commercial / residential construction background and established client relationships in the same field.Someone who is a self-starter and can work independently but also contribute towards a team.Someone who is passionate about developing and maintaining relationships with clients but also someone who has a proven track record in winning new business (examples of such would be highly desirable).Someone with a strong background in sales and business development is a must.Strong written and verbal communication skills and professional presentation skills.Ability to manage a full sales cycle as well as the ability to write and win tenders.Next Steps?How to applyIf you are interested in this role and have the necessary experience please contact me on to have a confidential chat or email me your resume and cover letter.
