About The Opportunities Join our Parks and Open Spaces team as a Labourer where you will be part of a multi-disciplined team that is capable of maintaining and enhancing the environment of our Parks, Gardens and Open Spaces, Cemeteries, Reserves, Beaches and Foreshores, and Streetscape, within the Bundaberg region.
Opportunities available in Bundaberg, Childers and Gin Gin.
About You Demonstrated experience in the maintenance and improvement of parks, streetscape, cemetery's, landscapes and horticultural environments.
Hold a current Class 'C' and 'MR' Drivers Licence.
Possession of a current Construction Industry General Safety Induction Card.
Demonstrated experience in the operation and basic maintenance of relevant items of plant.
Chainsaw Ticket and Herbicide Operator Ticket (AC / DC) will be highly regarded.
Physical capability to perform labouring tasks that may involve strenuous activity, repetitive actions and working in an outdoors environment exposed to natural elements.
Good computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, and Tablets to log and update tasks, JSAs and electronic timesheets.
Sound interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally with a variety of internal and external parties.
