Asian Meat Processing Worker

Join our team at Osawa Enterprises, a leading wagyu beef supplier in Sydney.
We are the sole Japanese wagyu beef wholesaler with a large number of online customers in Sydney.
We specialize in producing and processing high-quality wagyu meats tailored for Asian cuisine.
As part of our expansion, we are seeking dedicated, detail-oriented individuals with a passion for wagyu and a commitment to quality.
Position Summary The Meat Processing Staff will be responsible for Asian style cutting with a knife (Japanese and Korean styles) and packaging various types of meat according to Japanese/Korean culinary standards.
Successful candidates will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Prepare and process a variety of meats (focusing on HAND-CUTTING wagyu) according to Japanese/Korean styles and specifications. Perform cutting by hand trimming, slicing, and packaging in accordance with Japanese standards. Maintain strict hygiene and safety protocols. Inspect meat quality and ensure products meet regulatory and company standards. Always follow and match our Quality Control/Assurance leader standards. Weigh, package, and label products accurately. Assist with cleaning and maintaining processing equipment and workspaces. Requirements Experience in meat processing or food preparation (restaurants acceptable), particularly in Asian cuisine, is highly preferred. Ability to work in a temperature-controlled environment. Knowledge of safe food handling practices and health regulations. Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks. Team player with strong communication skills. Pay: $29.00 – $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 38 per week
