The Nepean Campus has recently experienced tremendous growth and aims to support communities within and outside of Sydney's western suburbs, providing world-class clinical facilities, services, and care.An opportunity is now available to work as a Wound Care Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 on a Temporary full-time position, located at Nepean Hospital.
The CNS Grade 2 Wound Management is responsible for the care and coordination of patients with acute and chronic wounds presenting to Nepean Hospital.The Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 (CNS2) is a Registered Nurse who applies a high level of clinical nursing knowledge, experience and skills in providing complex nursing care directed towards a specific area of practice, a defined population or defined service area, with minimum direct supervision.
Your role is responsible for the assessment, management, referral, follow up, education and evaluation of wounds and will form part of a team leading the development of protocols and processes appropriate for acute and chronic wound management.Working with NBMLHD will allow you to meet the needs of staff, patients and their families whilst working in a diverse team demonstrating CORE values whilst providing exceptional person-centered care.
