We are seeking a motivated Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our Adult Specialist Clinics team on a Permanent, Full Time basis at Melton Campus.
The ANUM will use clinical knowledge and experience/skills to support the NUM and the delivery of care to our patients.
Responsibilities: Deliver care in such a way to maximise the patient experienceAdhere to all Western Health policies and proceduresParticipate in quality and improvement activities for Adult Specialist Clinics including auditing and participating in improvement projectsSupport and participate in the Health Service OH&S Procedures and implement (where appropriate) a safe work environment by reporting any incidents of unsafe work practices, sites/areas or equipmentAssume the role/responsibility of the NUM in their absenceStrong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbalAbility to work well under pressure and be flexible to changing priorities and environmentInnovative approach to improving service deliveryTo be successful in this role you will have: Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered NurseDemonstrated ability to practice collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary health care teamDemonstrated provision of high developed clinical assessment skillsDeveloped assessment, clinical reasoning, problem solving and prioritisation skillsHigh motivation and willingness to learnExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience in a leadership role in a similar settingPosition Description Applications close at 11:59pm on 3 December 2024
