womenMD, located in the community of Fairfield in Victoria, British Columbia, provides primary-care family medicine and comprehensive women's health management.
We specialize in Integrative Lifestyle Medicine for our patients and are committed to providing optimal care, including Sexual Medicine, IUD clinics, Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy, Menopause Consultants, and an 8-week menopause educational program.
The foundation of Lifestyle Medicine is holistic nutrition, exercise, mental wellness, resilience, and a sense of community.
These pillars of health keep patients out of the doctor's office and assist patients in connecting to their health at the ground level.
We are recruiting for a Nurse Practitioner to join our team of primary care providers
The Nurse Practitioner will work in collaboration with the physicians and other members of the womenMD team to provide medical care and treatment in a women's clinic setting, focusing on sexual health.
The successful candidate will be responsible for their own panel of female patients and will have autonomy on how and when they work to serve this panel.

Expected Work Details: Expected number of days of work per year: 93-105Expected number of days of work in a week: 2-4Expected number of hours of work in a day: 6-9Expected to work statutory holidays: NoPractitioner may take up to 3 weeks' vacation per calendar year with a notice of at least 2 months for absences.Work hours and days are flexible and will be agreed upon, with a minimum workload of at least 0.5 FTE.
Patient Population: Women MD clinic has a strong focus on women's health.
Community Information: British Columbia's scenic capital city of Victoria is located on the southern part of Vancouver Island, reflecting a British heritage with its double-decker buses, horse-drawn carriages, scenic gardens, and the tradition of formal afternoon tea.
The city boasts a high "park-to-people" ratio and a temperate climate supporting numerous recreational pursuits.

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8 AM to 3:30 PM; Friday 8 AM to 12 PM.
Closed all statutory holidays and weekends.
Remuneration: Per Ministry's designated NP Primary Care Service Contract
Education, Experience & Qualifications: Licensure with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives
