Accounts And Payroll Support Officer

About the Role: CPBS is seeking an experienced part-time Accounts and Payroll Support Officer to work on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, based out of our head office in Manly, Brisbane.
You'll be working closely with our Accounts Coordinator and HR/Payroll Advisor, playing a vital support role ensuring we manage and maintain our financial and payroll operations efficiently.
Your Responsibilities: Accounts Payable: Receiving, process, verifying and reconciling invoices and assist with company payments, ensuring timely and accurate payment cycles.
Accounts Receivable: Handle invoicing, track payments, and manage overdue invoices collections.
Payroll Processing: Support the HR and Payroll Advisor in processing payroll, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in maintaining payroll records and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Data Support and Management: Assist in maintain and update financial records in our accounting software.

Your Experience and Abilities: Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing within a small/medium sized business.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software, ideally Xero.
Demonstrated and effective time management skills including the ability to manage multiple competing priorities set in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
