Join my client's rapidly growing team in Sydney as an Account Executive , where you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with a leading research and advisory firm and contribute to the success of clients across diverse industries.
About the Role
As an Account Executive , you will drive business growth by managing a blend of new business acquisition (70%) and account management (30%).
You'll work with medium-sized businesses across a variety of industries, focusing on high-tech international companies, finance, and supply chain sectors.
This role involves managing the entire sales process, from lead generation to deal closure, with typical deal sizes of $100K AUD and sales cycles averaging 2-4 months.
You'll build strong relationships with C-level executives, particularly CIOs and CTOs, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
Key Responsibilities
Generate new business and expand existing client relationships.
Collaborate with C-level executives to address their key priorities.
Manage a robust pipeline to achieve and exceed a $1M AUD annual target.
Leverage insights from subject matter experts to deliver tailored solutions.
Represent the company at industry conferences and networking events.
Ideal Skills and Experience Full sales cycle experience, from prospecting to closing deals.
Proven success in B2B sales with a focus on complex sales cycles.
Experience in account management with a technical or consultative sales approach.
Strong executive presence with the confidence to engage C-level stakeholders.
Quick learner with excellent active listening and consultative selling skills.
Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Sales training and a technical background (education or work experience) preferred.
Soft Skills Executive Presence: Confidence and communication skills to influence decision-makers.
Coachability: Open to feedback, motivated, and goal-oriented.
Integrity: Honest and client-focused, prioritizing long-term relationships.

Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $100K AUD OTE: $155K AUD (uncapped commission) Hybrid Role: 3 days in the office and 2 WFH High renewal rates (80%-100%) ensure stable and repeatable success.
