The Role
As our Key Account Manager, you'll spend 70% of your time developing new business and 30% managing current accounts, focusing on building strong, long-lasting relationships with customers.
You'll play a key role in our client's success in the Australian market.
Your Key Responsibilities

Drive new business development while nurturing and expanding existing client relationships.
Collaborate with the sales team to identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
Gain a deep understanding of customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their objectives.
Ensure timely delivery of products and services, resolving issues to maintain trust and satisfaction.
Partner with internal teams (QA, R&D, etc.)
to deliver exceptional results and meet client expectations.
Prepare progress reports and forecasts to share insights with stakeholders.

What You'll Bring
4+ years of sales/key account management experience, ideally within the industrial bakery, food service and / or ice cream manufacturing sector.
Proven success selling semi-manufactured products like chocolate, margarine, or UHT cream.
A strategic mindset and tenacity to independently open new accounts and solve problems creatively.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Experience leading cross-functional teams in strategic, high-value business pursuits.
