Ventia has been awarded a new four-year contract by Seqwater to deliver preventative, corrective, and reactive maintenance along with electrical, mechanical and instrumentational services across its water network.
Ventia will provide services across 35 water treatment plants, 95 pump stations and 26 referable dams.About the RoleJoin one of the largest essential infrastructure service providers in Australia and New Zealand.
This is a full-time permanent role with a hybrid working opportunity, based in a QLD Ventia office and work from home.
We offer a competitive remuneration package with abundant opportunities to learn and advance your career.The Maintenance Engineering Manager provides strategic & operational management to the Engineering and Maintenance function operating under the Seqwater Collaborative Asset Services contract.
This position will provide leadership and support with a focus on improving operational efficiencies, moving from reactive response to proactive preventative maintenance and towards a data-driven condition-based maintenance regime across all Seqwater assets.
The position will drive continuous improvement opportunities and identify and implement strategies for improving asset reliability and maintenance execution.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop Preventive and Reactive Maintenance StrategiesDrive Compliance and Safety CultureBudget Management and cost-effective use of ResourcesTeam Leadership and TrainingData Driven Equipment Monitoring and TrainingAbout YouTo be successful in the role of Maintenance Engineering Manager, you should have the following skills and experience:Tertiary qualification in Engineering, or Project Management with significant mechanical or electrical trades experience.Proven Financial, Cost Control and Business Management literacy.Proven track record in a Maintenance Engineering Management role.Demonstrated ability to develop excellent working relationships with multiple cross-functional stakeholders and direct reports.Demonstrated ability to influence and engage with senior client personnel, management and all levels of the project delivery team.What We Offer YouVentia has partnered with reputable organisations to offer discounts on Health Insurance, Banking (new home loans, credit cards, everyday bank accounts), flights & accommodation, car hire, car leasing and much more.
