Description We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Centre Manager to lead the day-to-day management of Westpoint Shopping Centre.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a large team, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a safe and efficient environment.
The Centre Manager will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase profitability.
About the role
Lead, manage and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence Develop and implement strategies to increase profitability Build strong relationships with the local community, retailers, broader team and other stakeholders Maintain a safe and efficient environment by enforcing policies and procedures Financial management including forecasting & budgeting, ensuring financial targets are met and constant understanding of all arrears Manage the centre to the highest standards of presentation and risk management Review and analyse centre performance including rent reviews, managing budgets and the preparation of monthly reporting Implement income-generating initiatives throughout the year Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, make recommendations for improvements and identify opportunities for cost savings About you
Demonstrated experience as a Centre Manager in a retail shopping centre environment.
Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is desirable Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role in the shopping centre industry Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and build effective and professional relationships with a range of stakeholders Proven experience with leading high-performance teams and implementing continuous improvement Strong understanding of property finance fundamentals and investment metrics along with accounting skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software Good understanding of the drivers of a successful Shopping Centre Ability to understand the retail lease requirements for tenants.
