About the role:Permanent role - 9 Day Fortnight - This role will require you to work every second Saturday.
Join our energetic team at Summerland Farm as a Site Events Lead
We're looking for an experienced professional to coordinate and deliver exceptional events, programs, workshops, and tours that create positive customer experiences and drive sales growth.
In this role, you'll support our Hospitality and Tourism team by promoting Summerland Farm's offerings through effective marketing strategies and social media engagement.
Your expertise will help enhance operational activities, ensuring our services and products are delivered seamlessly.
You'll build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and the community, promoting our values and fostering collaboration within our team.
Additionally, you'll play a key role in developing new products and events, diversifying our offerings and attracting more visitors.

Key Responsibilities:Coordinate and deliver Site events, programs, workshops and tours.Generate positive customer experiences, growing customers and salesSupport the Hospitality and Tourism team to increase customer numbers through the effective promotions of Summerland Farm product and services, events and farm attractions through effective use of social mediumsDeliver services and products through effective operational activitiesProvide excellent customer service to promote Summerland Farm services and built positive relationships with external customers, suppliers and the broader communityCoordinate to grow and diversify Summerland Farm events on offer through new products, services and eventsFacilitate cooperation and collaboration to foster team relationships with the broader Summerland Farm team, reflecting our values and producing effective team resultsProvide administrative support that ensures site events and operational requirements are metBenefits of working with ArumaSalary Packaging: Access to NFP salary packaging up to $15,900 for living expenses and additional $2,650 for meal and entertainment expenses each yeartax free.Fitness Passport: Access to subsidised Gym membershipEmployee Assistance Program: Free confidential service including Money Assist, Legal Assist, Family Assist and Nutrition/Lifestyle Assist.Training: Opportunity for Cert IV accredited training through our RTODiscounted Health Insurance: Access to a range of discounted health and wellness services through Bupa.Recognition & Rewards: Recognition for your hard work through BRAVE Reviews and our annual BRAVE Awards nightJob Satisfaction: Through making a real difference in peoples' lives within a values-driven organisation.About You:Cert IV in Events Management; or equivalent knowledge and experience (planning and coordinating events, workshops or tours)Experience with planning and coordinating workshops or toursExperience in business development, through events and promotionsDemonstrates respect towards people with a disabilityPrevious experience in a fast-paced environment with ability to work under pressureExcellent customer serviceEffective verbal and written communicationSound organisational skills and ability to prioritise workWork autonomously and as part of diverse teamA commitment to the Summerland Farm and Aruma's Code of ConductSound and proficient computer skillsA practical understanding of WHS requirementsA current Australian driver's licenseRSA certificateHold current or willingness to obtain relevant regulatory requirements (as per role and/or State).Ready to make a change?
