FinXL IT Professional Services, a trusted provider of premium IT consulting solutions, is seeking a Project Manager to lead initiatives focused on Stranded Costs within a high-profile Selling Off initiative with an enterprise banking client .
This dynamic role offers the opportunity to mitigate financial risks, optimise resource utilisation, and ensure project outcomes are aligned with strategic goals.
About the Assignment As a Project Manager, you will oversee key initiatives aimed at addressing Stranded Costs - payments made that cannot be recovered.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timely resolution of financial exposures and alignment with organisational objectives.
This role requires a strong mix of financial acumen, stakeholder management, and project leadership.
Key Responsibilities Lead projects addressing Stranded Costs , focusing on identifying and resolving unrecoverable payments.
Collaborate with finance, operations, and technical teams to analyse cost recovery challenges and design mitigation strategies.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
Oversee financial modelling and reporting related to Stranded Costs to provide actionable insights.
Ensure alignment of project outcomes with broader Selling Off strategic initiatives.
Facilitate workshops and meetings to ensure stakeholder alignment and effective communication.
Mitigate risks through proactive planning, issue resolution, and contingency management.
What We're Looking For Proven experience as a Project Manager , particularly within financial or operational initiatives .
Strong knowledge of Stranded Costs concepts and financial recovery processes.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Experience in managing large-scale, high-stakes projects in dynamic environments.
Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2, PMP certification desirable).
Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a proven ability to manage competing priorities.
