Sanctuary Cove Community Services – Sanctuary Cove QLD
The Board of Sanctuary Cove Community Services Limited (SCCSL) is seeking to hire an experienced General Manager to manage the Company and lead the delivery of services to the Body Corporates.
The role is supported by four managers in control of body corporate, facilities, security and financial services, managing approximately 30 staff in security and 20 staff in administration and maintenance roles.
Sanctuary Cove – The Resort Sanctuary Cove is one of Australia's preeminent integrated resort developments, established under the Sanctuary Cove Resort Act (SCRA) in 1985.
The Resort consists of a gated residential community, a golf and country club, a marina, an international hotel and a retail village.
The Resort is situated on 500 hectares of land with 16km of waterways (river and harbours).
Sanctuary Cove is governed under a layered body corporate scheme consisting of the Principal Body Corporate (PBC) with 27 Residual Body Corporates members (RBCs) with a maximum capacity of 1,823 homes within the Residential Zone and the Primary Throughfare Body Corporate (PTBC) with members owning land and facilities in the International Hotel, Harbour, Village, Recreation Club, Golf Course and Administration Zones.
Core Responsibilities Service Delivery: Oversee the effective and efficient delivery of services to the Body Corporates and achieve high levels of client satisfaction.People Leadership: Recruit, develop and manage high performing collaborative teams to sustain a successful workplace.Business Planning and Execution: Lead the development of annual operating plans and budgets for the Company and the Body Corporates for approval.
Ensure Company and Body Corporate initiatives are implemented to time, cost, and quality.Financial Management: Optimise the financial performance of the Company and Body Corporates and ensure quality financial and operational reporting to the client bodies and the preparation and audit of necessary financial statements.Relationships: Build constructive, highly professional and respectful working relationships with the Board, Officers of Body Corporate Committees and key external service providers.Corporate Governance: Ensure there are frameworks and systems for compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and the identification and management of conflicts of interest.Risk Management: Ensure there is an effective system of risk management and that the Company and Body Corporates always have appropriate insurance policies in place.Continuous Improvement: Explore new digital technologies to improve efficiency and client satisfaction.
Continuously strive to improve key operating processes and eliminate waste in the use of resources.Qualifications A degree in business, finance, law or similar is desirable.Previous Experience An established tenure in any of the following types of position:
Leadership of a Body Corporate or Facilities Management business or sizable function or Branch within a similar business.General Manager for a multi-use resort, or similar facility.Who would this role suit?
