CatholicCare is seeking a skilled and dynamic Manager of Continuous Improvement for a 12-month contract to lead the quality and compliance functions across our operations.
This role is essential in providing operational staff with the guidance and support needed to implement and sustain quality programs, ensuring compliance with contractual, legislative, and best practice standards.
The Manager of Continuous Improvement will oversee a team of Project Officers, driving accreditation processes, continuous improvement initiatives, and system development across multiple programs.
You will be responsible for developing and refining policies and procedures, conducting audits, and working closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve program excellence.
With demonstrated leadership abilities, the successful candidate will mentor staff, resolve conflicts, and guide change management efforts, all while aligning with CatholicCare's strategic objectives.

POSITION DESCRIPTION The Manager, Continuous Improvement holds responsibility for providing operational staff with support, guidance, and coordination of quality programs and associated systems for accreditation and continuous quality improvement of CatholicCare operations.
The Manager, Continuous Improvement provides support to operational staff to develop and enhance practice, to ensure the programs are operating in accordance with contractual and legislative obligations and policy and best practice standards.
The Manager, Continuous Improvement will supervise a team of project officers who will support them in the implementation of necessary tasks.
EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA Demonstrated experience and competency in identifying and implementing projects to enhance quality program functioning.Demonstrated experience in working collaboratively with other managers and leaders in the Permanency Support Program and across the agency.Experience in reviewing and developing policies, procedures, and practice standards in a social service setting.Demonstrated experience in planning, leading, and managing projects.Demonstrated leadership skills including staff supervision, mentoring, support and development, conflict resolution, and change management.Demonstrated experience in establishing professional relationships with regulators, funding bodies, and external auditors to achieve program objectives and support CatholicCare Strategic Plan.A working knowledge of the legislation, policies, and standards relevant to the NSW child protection system, with particular knowledge of statutory out-of-home care, and child-safe organizations.High level communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.High level computer literacy and administration skills with demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of computerized information systems for reporting of quality outcomes.Demonstrated experience in conducting and participating in quality internal and external audits with extensive experience in the development and implementation of quality management processes and systems, document control processes, and reporting within the community services industry.Experience in providing small group training in systems and quality management processes.Ability to participate in a managerial on-call roster.Other duties as required.QUALIFICATIONS/LICENCES Degree in Business, Social Services, Human Resources or equivalent Training.NSW Driver Licence.WWCC.NPC.To Apply Please provide a current copy of your Resume and a Cover Letter which addresses the two criterion points below:
