Position Overview
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Commis Chef to join our kitchen team.
As a Commis Chef, you will have the opportunity to develop your culinary skills, work across various sections of the kitchen, and deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
You will be expected to uphold our commitment to quality, innovation, and guest satisfaction, while working in a team environment that values respect, accountability, and creativity.
Core Responsibilities Culinary Excellence: Assist in preparing food under the supervision of the Chef de Partie, ensuring the highest quality of food presentation and consistency.Kitchen Operations: Rotate through different sections of the kitchen, including sauces, vegetables, larder, fish, and butchery, to gain a well-rounded skill set.Food Preparation & Presentation: Ensure proper mise-en-place, accurate portioning, and that all food is prepared and presented according to menu standards.Hygiene & Safety: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to strict hygiene and food safety standards at all times.Guest Satisfaction: Deliver high-quality food that meets or exceeds guest expectations, demonstrating flexibility with guest requests and handling special dietary needs where necessary.Team Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen team to meet daily service needs and proactively share ideas for process improvement and cost control.Stock Management: Assist with deliveries, stock rotation, and minimizing waste through careful preparation and storage practices.About You Passion for Culinary Arts: You have a strong desire to learn, grow, and contribute to the team.
