Calling all trade professionalsAt JV Recruitment, we have a 10+ year history of placing successful candidates with different builders and construction companies all over the eastern seaboard of Australia.
We are partnering with an Australia-wide residential insurance builder that specializes in water damage rectifications.
The Role:As an estimator, you will be the first point of contact for assessing the site.
You will then produce cost estimations, organise on-site trades, and see the project through to completion.
About you:This is the perfect role for a qualified tradesman looking to take the next step in their career, being able to work with a forward-thinking company that will nurture your growth through clear progression pathways.
You should possess the following:
Trade Qualification (Preferably Carpentry)Exposure to estimation and a good understanding of the processExposure to insurance and residential works is a big bonusThis is an entry-level role where you will be given the ability to progress your career - attitude and positivity is keyWillingness to progress, with the ability to foster and nurture a positive working environmentTech savvy with adaptability - all the software has been made in-house specialized against company proceduresPrevious experience leading a team as a leading hand or head tradesmanAbility to deal with multiple activities at one time and organise multiple tradesThe Benefits:You will be given all the tools of your trade (vehicle, laptop, phone, uniform, etc.
