Leading Australian Utilities business Permanent role - $190,000 Inclusive + Bonus Operational Technology experience advantageous Senior IT Project Manager - Cyber Security Leading Australian Utilities business Permanent role - $190,000 Inclusive + Bonus Operational Technology experience advantageous The Role: Our client, a leading player in the utilities space, is on the lookout for a strong Senior IT Project Manager with a background in Cyber Security to join them on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate has around 8-10 years of experience, is passionate about their work, outcome orientated and has been up-skilled across multiple domains including Cyber Security.
Any experience in Operational Technology (OT) is highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Accountable for the delivery of technology projects within time, cost, and quality constraints.
Initiation: For all projects, oversee the Initiation and Concept Development stages (Opex), ensuring high quality deliverables, i.e.
Project Brief (DG1) are completed within required timeframes Execution (Definition Onwards): Oversee, monitor, and control all aspects of project execution including stakeholder management, expectation management.
Performance monitoring, budget management, planning & scheduling, risk & issue management, and reporting.
Management of project teams providing direction, support, and motivation, and assigning tasks and responsibilities to team members driving accountability and action.
Team Management: Longer term goal will be for the Senior Project Manager to assume line management responsibilities.
Key Requirements: 8 – 10 Years of project management experience Perfectionist mindset Attention to detail.
Cyber Security experience Previous consulting experience advantageous Exceptional communication & stakeholder management OT experience is a bonus.
Experience running and managing multiple projects.
