Job DescriptionWhether you're experienced in the Education or childcare sector, have done some babysitting, this is the first time you're thinking about working with children, or anything in between, THIS is the role for youOur service at Miranda OSHClub is looking for a passionate Assistant Coordinator to assist with managing the service and providing engagement programs for our primary-age children.
This is a 27.5 hours per week opportunity to assist with leading a team of passionate Educators.About the roleCo-managing a team of Educators, you'll have the perfect balance of support and leadership opportunities.
You will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years, with the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.
Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are intoFoster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parentsLead a team of Educators onsite, including roster managementManage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administrationWho are we looking for?We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have:
Enjoy working with kidsStrong and clear communicationTeam player with a desire to become a service leaderHold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it)
