Ward Clerk for our new Women's Mental Health Service | Multiple positions on offer:Front Reception Full time 76 hoursFront Reception Part time/Casual 45 hoursAbout the Role You will be passionate and enthusiastic about being in the front line working with our patients, their support networks and our staff team.
You will have excellent customer service skills and enjoy a varied and fast paced administration role.
As a Ward Clerk for our Women's Mental Health Service, you will be responsible for a broad range of administrative duties including:
Managing the busy reception desk, including answering calls and handling inquiriesManaging both electronic and paper-based medical recordsMaintaining accurate and efficient record management systemsSupporting ward staff with administrative tasksLiaising with other departments and team members as requiredCompleting other clerical tasks as requested, such as data entry, scanning, preparing resources, and welcome packsConducting Health Fund checks and other financial tasks related to admissionsYour Skills and Experience To succeed in this role, you will be an effective and approachable administrative professional with a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values.
Excellent communication and high level customer service and communication skillsHighly developed organisational skillsDemonstrated accurate data entry and strong attention to detailDemonstrated organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlinesWillingness to be flexible and take on additional shifts as requestedAdvanced experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)Demonstrated minimum 1 year experience in a hospital/medical administrative positionDemonstrated knowledge of medical terminologyExperience with Meditech Patient Administrative System (PAS) or similar PASExperience with Electronic Medical Record system, iPM, CERNER #J-18808-Ljbffr
